Lenticular Clouds are pursuing the next evolution of witch house and hypnagogic pop. Their tracks are laced with subtle, complex electronic details and broken rhythms; resulting in a hypnotic, velveteen take on IDM, occupying similar sonic territory to oOoOO, BALAM ACAB, Holy Other, Baths or Blackbird Blackbird. This DIY project is the work of, Barcelona native, Albert Zaragoza Gas.
Lenticular Clouds played the prestigious festival Sonar Barcelona 2012, as well as at various summer festivals like ArteNou. He has shared stage with artists like Disclosure, Throwing Snow and Jon Phonics. Lenticular Clouds’ shows interact with synchronized video creations, disseminating information usually confined to the more obscure corners of the internet; information about mankind awakening to universal consciousness. His shows are an exploration of scientific possibilities and modern spiritual preaching.
Comprised of layered, improvised live sessions, Dawn 2012 could be a song shaped mixtape, or a perhaps it's just a single song. With no mixdowns or edits, Lenticular Clouds creates a tapestry of drums, guitar and synth - a heady psychedelic soundtrack for the 2012 Summer, brought to you by Baku-Shad-do.
